 Dr. Ann-Christina Brady, a board certified pediatric surgeon, was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, in 2002.  She obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL in 2006, and completed her general surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2013.  During residency, she performed a two-year research fellowship at the Diabetes Research Institute in translational research investigating the reversal of Type I diabetes using bio-engineered artificial devices for islet cell transplantation.  She completed her training in pediatric surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO in 2015.  Upon graduating, she joined the private practice group of South Florida Pediatric Surgeons, PA, where she provided general pediatric surgical care for the greater Broward and Palm Beach counties.   

She is certified by The American Board of Surgery in both general and pediatric surgery.  She is a member of The American College of Surgeons, The American Pediatric Surgical Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Brady has multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
